Rob Soucy is a film director based in New York City. His career in the arts started at 16 years old when he dropped out of school to perform professionally in punk rock bands. During his music career, he released several albums, toured the world, directed music videos for Grammy-nominated artists like Blink-182, and was even a roadie for Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson at one point.

Rob’s unique sense of humor led him into directing comedy commercials. His strong visual storytelling skills and ability to punch up a joke have made his work recognized by Cannes, The Addy’s, and The Webby Awards. He’s directed an NFL Super Bowl commercial and his first documentary short film “O Velho do Rio”, premiered at The American Documentary Festival in 2023. Rob is bi-lingual, OSHA certified to drive a forklift, an ordained minister, and a guest lecturer at “The School of Visual Arts” in NYC.
